the people
The company is run by Charles and Micheline Street, from their studio near Cape Town, South Africa. Charles has been involved in pottery since the heady days of 1967. More recently, his wife Micheline has added her considerable talents to the business, resulting in the present highly successful range. |

the history
We need to tell about how this all started and where the passion came from. Perhaps a little about the amazing monument/statue, including a link to a picture elsewhere. This is your chance to tell the world about yourself - anything you like! |

the method
These decorative plates and tiles make perfect gifts, and are ideal for display in all areas of the home - Kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms and bedrooms. They are ready wired (plates) or strung (tiles) for display. All work is done by hand from hand-throwing the plates to applying the final coat of lacquer. |
|
the shop
A display room attached to the studio houses examples of their work. Pop in for a cup of coffee and warm conversation while browsing the beautiful artwork. Click on the clover at the top to return to the Sherwood Pottery Home Page.
